Services
+ Clinical Assessment
Sometimes, a person has emotional, behavioral, and ability levels that are difficult to understand, and the person may be referred for further evaluation to help clarify the underlying causes. A psychological assessment is a process through which a psychologist gathers information about a person’s functioning in order to discover strengths and weaknesses to help diagnose mental health concerns and provide treatment recommendations. Kartta Group partners with St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services to offers clinical psychological assessment services, in addition to servicing those individuals who are court-ordered to participate.
+ Forensic Evaluation
Kartta Group specializes in evaluating a variety of complex psycholegal issues. An individual’s psychiatric status, cognitive or developmental status, or chemical dependency is often highly relevant to their involvement in certain criminal, probate, or civil judicial processes. Comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations can help the trier of fact and other referring parties better understand a person’s functioning as relevant to the legal situation, as well as offer useful information about the person’s diagnosis, treatment needs, and abilities that can influence court outcomes. Our clients include the courts, attorneys, and private parties.
+ Consulting
Our consulting services integrate scientific knowledge and professional experience. We are proud to offer our consulting services to a variety of professionals, including legal actors, small business owners, and government agencies, with a focus on community behavioral health and psycholegal matters.
Generally, Kartta Group does not provide evaluations that are required for therapeutic benefit. Given our emphasis on working with the legal system, our evaluations are offered to answer specific questions or inform decisions that are unrelated to medical care.
